> dijitul marketing plans, writes, builds and sends email campaigns for UK businesses from £95 a month + VAT. We work in Klaviyo, Mailchimp or Brevo, set up automated flows such as welcome and abandoned cart, keep your list PECR-compliant and report on clicks, revenue and unsubscribes rather than open rates alone.

Price: From £95 a month + VAT

## Problems this solves

- You have a list of several thousand people and have not emailed them properly in months.
- Your newsletter goes out when someone remembers, with no plan and no link to sales.
- Emails land in Gmail's spam or Promotions folder and you don't know why.
- Your platform bill keeps rising because you pay for contacts who never open or click.
- You are not sure whether you have consent to email half the people on your list.
- Nobody can tell you how much revenue email actually brings in.
- Abandoned baskets and first-time buyers get no follow-up at all.

## Key facts

- Email marketing management starts from £95 a month + VAT, monthly, cancel with notice.
- Automated flow set-up (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back) is a one-off from £195 + VAT.
- We work inside your own Klaviyo, Mailchimp or Brevo account, so the list and the history stay yours.
- Under PECR regulation 22, marketing emails to individuals need consent or the soft opt-in for existing customers.
- Gmail and Yahoo require bulk senders (over 5,000 messages a day) to use SPF, DKIM and DMARC and offer one-click unsubscribe.
- We judge campaigns on clicks, orders and revenue, because Apple Mail Privacy Protection makes open rates unreliable.
- dijitul has traded as DIJITUL LTD since 2006 and is based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.

## What our email marketing service covers

Email is the one marketing channel where you own the audience. A Meta algorithm change or a Google Ads price rise does not take your list away. The catch is that most small businesses collect addresses and then do very little with them. dijitul marketing turns that list into a planned, regular programme of campaigns and automated messages.

The monthly service, **from £95 a month + VAT**, covers planning, copywriting, building the email in your platform, testing, sending and reporting. The number of campaigns depends on your plan and your audience. A local retailer might send two a month. An online shop with a busy product range might send one or two a week, plus automated flows. We agree the cadence up front so the price is clear.

Automated flows are set up once and then run on their own. That set-up is a one-off **from £195 + VAT**, covered in detail on our email automation page. Everything is built in an account you own, so if you ever move on, the list, templates and flows stay with you.

## Which email platform: Klaviyo, Mailchimp or Brevo

We work in the platform that suits the business, not the one we happen to prefer.

- **Klaviyo** is built around ecommerce data. It syncs orders, products and browsing from Shopify, WooCommerce and others, which makes abandoned cart and product recommendation emails far easier. See our Klaviyo agency page.
- **Mailchimp** is familiar, simple and good for service businesses and newsletters. Its published UK pricing (checked October 2026) shows the free plan is capped at 250 contacts and 500 sends a month, with automation flows only on paid plans. See Mailchimp set-up.
- **Brevo** prices mainly on sends rather than contacts, which can suit businesses with a large list and a low sending frequency.

Platform subscriptions are paid by you directly to the provider and are separate from our fee. If you are on the wrong platform, we will say so and explain the cost of moving before anything changes.

## Consent and the law: PECR in plain English

UK marketing email is governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) as well as UK GDPR. The Information Commissioner's Office guidance on regulation 22 says you must not send marketing emails to individuals without their specific consent, unless the **soft opt-in** applies. That covers people who bought, or negotiated to buy, a similar product or service from you, were given a simple way to opt out when you collected their details, and get that opt-out in every message.

Bought-in lists of consumers do not qualify. Emails to limited companies and LLPs are treated differently, but sole traders and some partnerships count as individuals. The stakes went up this year: the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 raised the maximum PECR penalty to 17.5 million pounds or 4% of global turnover, with that change commenced on 5 February 2026 (SI 2026/82 on legislation.gov.uk).

Before we send anything, we check where your contacts came from and how consent was recorded. Where the record is weak, we suggest a re-permission campaign rather than risking a complaint.

## Getting into the inbox

Good content is wasted if it lands in spam. Google's Email sender guidelines say anyone sending more than 5,000 messages a day to Gmail accounts must authenticate with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, support one-click unsubscribe on marketing mail, and keep the spam rate reported in Postmaster Tools below 0.3%, ideally below 0.1%. Yahoo's Sender Hub sets the same 0.3% ceiling and asks senders to honour unsubscribes within two days. Microsoft applied similar rules to Outlook.com, Hotmail and Live addresses from 5 May 2025.

Even if you send far fewer than 5,000 a day, these are the standards inbox providers judge you against. We check your domain's DNS records, set up a branded sending domain in your platform and watch complaint and bounce rates every month. Our email deliverability for marketers page goes into the detail.

## How we measure email

Open rates used to be the headline number. Since Apple introduced Mail Privacy Protection in iOS 15, Apple Mail can preload images, including tracking pixels, whether or not a person reads the message. That inflates opens and makes them a poor guide to performance.

So our monthly report leads with numbers you can act on:

- **Click rate** and which links were clicked
- **Orders and revenue** attributed to campaigns and flows, from your platform and GA4
- **Unsubscribe and spam complaint rates**, the early warning signs of list fatigue
- **List growth**: new subscribers, by source, against people leaving

We will never promise a revenue figure. We will tell you plainly what worked, what did not and what we will change next month.

## FAQs

### How much does email marketing cost?

dijitul marketing manages email marketing from £95 a month + VAT. Automated flow set-up is a one-off from £195 + VAT. Your email platform subscription (Klaviyo, Mailchimp or Brevo) is paid directly to the provider and is separate from our fee.

### Do I need consent to email my customers?

For individuals, yes, unless the soft opt-in applies. The ICO's PECR guidance allows you to email existing customers about similar products or services if you offered an opt-out when you collected their details and offer it again in every message. Bought-in consumer lists are not covered.

### How often should we send emails?

It depends on how much you have to say and how often people buy. Many small businesses do well with two to four campaigns a month plus automated flows. We watch unsubscribe and complaint rates and adjust if the list starts to tire.

### Can you take over our existing Mailchimp or Klaviyo account?

Yes. We work inside your account so you keep ownership of the list, templates and history. We start with an audit of your forms, flows, segments and domain authentication, then agree a plan before we send anything.

### Will you write the emails as well as send them?

Yes. The monthly service includes planning, copywriting, building, testing and sending. You approve each campaign before it goes out, and you can send us offers, photos or product news to include.

### Why do you not report on open rates?

We do show them, but we do not rely on them. Apple Mail Privacy Protection preloads tracking pixels, so opens are inflated. Clicks, orders, revenue, unsubscribes and complaints give a truer picture of whether your email is working.

### Is there a contract?

No long contract. Email marketing is billed monthly and you can cancel with notice. One-off work such as flow set-up or a list clean-up is quoted and agreed in writing before we start.
