Price: From £150 a month + VAT

## Problems this solves

- You are on three ad platforms and cannot compare them
- Each platform claims credit for the same sale
- Creative has not changed in months and costs are rising
- You do not know which platform suits your customers
- Ad spend and agency fees are bundled so you cannot see either
- Your landing pages lose people the ads worked hard to get

## Key facts

- Paid social management from £150 a month + VAT, plus ad spend paid directly to each platform
- Platforms: Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn and TikTok
- No mark-up on ad spend; you are billed by the platform
- Since 1 July 2026 Meta adds a 2% location fee on ads shown to UK audiences (reported by Reuters)
- LinkedIn's minimum daily budget is $10; TikTok's is above $50 per campaign (platform help centres)
- Accounts, Pixels and audiences stay in your name
- Monthly, cancel with notice

## One team across Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok

Paid social means paying to put ads in people's social feeds. Unlike search ads, people are not looking for you, so the ad has to earn attention and the targeting has to find the right people. dijitul marketing runs paid social as one programme across platforms, so budget goes where it works rather than being split evenly out of habit.

- Facebook ads and Instagram ads through Meta Ads Manager: the widest reach and the most mature tools.
- LinkedIn ads: targeting by job title, seniority and company, for B2B.
- TikTok ads: vertical video, younger audiences and creator-style content.

DataReportal's Digital 2026 UK report lists advertising reach of 38.8 million for Facebook, 35.5 million for Instagram and 26.8 million adults for TikTok, with 48.0 million registered LinkedIn members. Reach is not the deciding factor, though. Fit and cost per real customer are.

## Choosing platforms and budgets

We start with your customer and your numbers: who buys, what a customer is worth, and how many leads or sales you need. That shapes the platform choice. A trades business or local clinic usually starts on Meta. A B2B consultancy might start on LinkedIn. A consumer brand with good video might test TikTok alongside Meta.

Each platform has its own floor. LinkedIn's best-practice guide sets a minimum daily budget of $10 per campaign. TikTok's help centre requires daily budgets above $50 per campaign and $20 per ad group. Meta has lower floors, but its delivery system still needs enough conversions each week to learn. We would rather run one platform properly than three platforms on budgets too small to tell you anything.

## Measuring across platforms honestly

Every platform reports conversions using its own attribution window, so if a customer sees a TikTok ad, then a Meta ad, then buys, both may claim the sale. Adding up platform figures overstates results. We use a neutral view as well: Google Analytics 4 with consistent UTM tags, your own sales or CRM data, and where useful a Looker Studio dashboard that puts every platform side by side.

Tracking is set up properly on each platform: Meta Pixel and Conversions API, LinkedIn Insight Tag, TikTok Pixel and Events API, each deduplicated and respecting cookie consent. See conversion tracking and GA4 set-up if those foundations are missing.

## Creative, testing and landing pages

On social, the ad does most of the targeting. Broad audiences with strong creative often beat narrow audiences with weak creative, because the platform learns who responds. We build each idea in the shapes each placement needs (4:5 and 9:16 on Meta, 9:16 on TikTok, 1200 x 627 px or square on LinkedIn), keep text inside each platform's safe zones, and test one variable at a time: hook, image, offer or call to action.

The click is only half the job. If the page people land on is slow, vague or asks for too much, the best ad in the world will not save it. We review landing pages as part of every account, and if you need new ones built, our sister company dijitul web design builds landing pages and websites.

## FAQs

### How much does paid social management cost in the UK?

dijitul marketing manages paid social from £150 a month + VAT, covering Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok. Ad spend is separate and paid directly to each platform. Since July 2026 Meta also adds a 2% location fee on ads shown to UK audiences.

### Which social platform should we advertise on?

It depends on who buys from you and what a customer is worth. Meta suits most local and consumer businesses, LinkedIn suits higher-value B2B, and TikTok suits brands that can make native vertical video. We often recommend starting on one platform and adding others once it works.

### Do you mark up our ad spend?

No. Ad spend is billed by Meta, LinkedIn or TikTok directly to your card or invoice. Our management fee is separate and shown on our own invoice, so you can see both clearly.

### Why do the platforms report more sales than we actually made?

Each platform counts conversions within its own attribution window, so several can claim the same sale. We compare platform figures with Google Analytics 4 and your own sales data to give a more honest picture.

### Is paid social different from social media management?

Yes. Social media management covers organic posting and replies, from £125 a month + VAT per platform. Paid social management covers advertising campaigns, from £150 a month + VAT plus ad spend. Many clients use both, planned together.

### Is there a minimum contract?

No. Paid social management is monthly and you can cancel with notice. Your ad accounts, Pixels and audiences stay in your name, so nothing is lost if you move on.
