Sound familiar?
- You installed Klaviyo, switched on a couple of default flows and never touched them again.
- Your Klaviyo bill has grown because the account holds thousands of profiles that never engage.
- Campaigns go to the whole list every time, with no segmentation.
- Abandoned checkout emails fire, but nobody has checked the timing, content or discount logic.
- Your sign-up pop-up collects emails without clear consent wording.
- You can't tell which flows actually make money.
Key facts
- Klaviyo campaign management starts from £95 a month + VAT; flow set-up starts from £195 + VAT one-off.
- Klaviyo's pricing page (checked October 2026) shows a free plan of 250 active profiles and 500 email sends a month.
- Klaviyo bills on active profiles, so suppressing unengaged contacts can keep your plan smaller.
- The core ecommerce flows are welcome, abandoned checkout, browse abandonment, post-purchase and win-back.
- We build in your account; you keep the data, flows and templates if you ever leave.
- We do not claim any Klaviyo partner status. We simply do the work and show you the results.
What a Klaviyo agency actually does for you
Klaviyo is powerful because it reads your shop data: who bought what, when, what they looked at and what they left in the basket. Most stores only use a fraction of that. dijitul marketing sets Klaviyo up so the data drives the email, rather than sending the same message to everyone.
There are two kinds of work. Flows are automated sequences triggered by behaviour, such as subscribing or abandoning a checkout. We build them once, from £195 + VAT, and then tune them over time. Campaigns are the one-off sends: launches, sales, seasonal emails and stories. We plan, write, build and send those as part of email management from £95 a month + VAT.
You keep ownership of the account. We are added as users, and the list, flows and templates remain yours.
The five Klaviyo flows every shop should have
| Flow | Trigger | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Welcome series | Joins the list | Introduces the brand, delivers any sign-up offer, points to best sellers |
| Abandoned checkout | Started checkout, did not order | Reminds them of the items, answers delivery and returns questions |
| Browse abandonment | Viewed a product, did not add to basket | Shows the product again with reviews or similar items |
| Post-purchase | Placed an order | Thanks, care instructions, review request, related products later |
| Win-back | No order for a set period | Checks in with lapsed customers before they are suppressed |
Each flow needs filters so people do not get two messages that contradict each other. A customer who has just ordered should leave the abandoned checkout flow. A subscriber in the welcome series may not need a campaign the same day. Those details are where most default set-ups fall down. The full ecommerce picture is on our ecommerce email flows page.
Keeping your Klaviyo bill under control
Klaviyo's pricing page shows the free plan allows 250 active profiles and 500 email sends a month, and paid tiers scale with your active profile count. Active profiles are the contacts you can email. Profiles that are suppressed (unsubscribed, hard bounced or manually suppressed) are not billed.
That means a list full of people who have not opened or clicked in a year costs you money and drags down deliverability. We set up an engagement policy: a sunset flow that asks long-inactive contacts whether they still want to hear from you, followed by suppression of those who do not respond. The list gets smaller, cleaner and cheaper, and inbox providers see a more engaged audience.
Segments, forms and consent
Sending every campaign to everyone is the quickest route to unsubscribes. We build segments on what Klaviyo knows: purchase count, last order date, product category, predicted next order date and engagement. A VIP segment, a first-time buyer segment and a lapsed segment will usually outperform one big send.
Sign-up forms are where consent starts. Under the ICO's PECR guidance, a tick box or clear statement that someone is signing up for marketing is needed for new contacts who are not customers. We write the form wording, record the consent source in Klaviyo and make sure the unsubscribe link is in every email.
How we report on Klaviyo
Klaviyo attributes revenue to emails using its own attribution window, which you can adjust. That is useful but generous, so we compare it with GA4 sessions and orders from email traffic. Your monthly report shows:
- Revenue and orders by flow and by campaign
- Click rate and placed order rate
- Unsubscribe and spam complaint rates
- Active profile count against your plan limit
If you also want your Klaviyo, ads and GA4 numbers in one view, we can build a reporting dashboard.
Moving to Klaviyo from another platform
Many shops arrive at Klaviyo from Mailchimp, Omnisend or their ecommerce platform's built-in email. A move is a good moment to tidy up, but it needs care. We export contacts with their consent status and unsubscribes, import them into Klaviyo with the correct subscription state, and never mark anyone as subscribed who was not subscribed before. Suppressed and bounced addresses come across as suppressed.
We then rebuild your flows natively in Klaviyo rather than copying old ones line by line, because Klaviyo's triggers and filters work differently. During the switch-over we warm up sending gradually, starting with your most engaged contacts, so inbox providers see a new sending pattern build up steadily rather than a sudden spike to your whole list. Old platform flows are paused only once the Klaviyo versions are live and tested.

Frequently asked questions
Are you a Klaviyo partner?
We do not claim any Klaviyo partner badge. We are a UK marketing team that sets up and runs Klaviyo for online shops, inside your own account, and we show you the flow and campaign numbers every month so you can judge the work.
How much does a Klaviyo agency cost?
With dijitul marketing, Klaviyo campaign management starts from £95 a month + VAT and flow set-up starts from £195 + VAT one-off. Your Klaviyo subscription is paid directly to Klaviyo and is separate from our fee.
Does Klaviyo work with WooCommerce as well as Shopify?
Yes. Klaviyo has integrations for Shopify, WooCommerce and other platforms. We check the integration is syncing orders, products and browsing events properly before building flows, because broken tracking means flows never trigger.
Can Klaviyo send SMS in the UK?
Klaviyo supports SMS, and the free plan includes a small monthly mobile message allowance according to its pricing page. UK SMS marketing needs its own consent under PECR. See our SMS marketing page for how we handle it.
How long does it take to set up the core flows?
Usually one to two weeks, depending on how quickly we get access, brand assets and approval on copy. We build, test with internal profiles, then switch flows live one by one.
We already have flows. Can you just improve them?
Yes. We start with an audit of what is live, check triggers, filters, timing and content, then fix the gaps. Often the quickest wins come from flows that already exist but have never been reviewed.
